IrisGo: What It Does, Pricing and Who Should Skip It
IrisGo is a desktop app that sits across your other apps. With Watch & Learn you demonstrate a task once (for example, pulling news, stock prices and notes into a morning briefing email) and it turns the steps into a reusable “skill” that can run on a schedule or on events. It mixes on-device AI (using the PC’s NPU or GPU where available) with cloud models, and a community skill library offers starting workflows such as email triage, meeting notes and expense reports. Its October 7, 2026 Product Hunt launch, a package for solopreneurs with daily briefs, email triage, to-do tracking and meeting summaries, was #1 product of the day. The company says it is backed by Andrew Ng’s AI Fund and partners with Intel and Acer; it comes pre-installed on some Acer laptops.

Who it’s for
Solopreneurs and freelancers on Windows 11 or an Apple Silicon Mac who repeat the same admin tasks every day and want to try teach-once automation for free.
Who should skip it
Anyone uncomfortable letting an app record their screen and apps, since that is how it learns; read its privacy and AI policy first, because cloud requests can send selected content to an outside model provider. Also skip for business-critical processes for now: it’s a beta (version 0.2.x) with no published price for after the beta, and it doesn’t run on Linux or Intel Macs.
Pricing (checked 2026-10-25)

- Price after the beta: not stated
- Teams: “Talk to Us” on the site, no price shown
- If you connect your own AI model provider, that provider’s costs apply
Free tier or trial

Notable complaints
- No independent hands-on reviews found yet. Product Hunt commenters asked how replays cope with an unexpected dialog box or a changed app interface, whether recorded workflows can be shared with a team, and where its local activity history is stored and whether it’s encrypted. Source
- An independent review based on the official site warns that nobody outside the company knows what it will cost after the beta, which makes it risky to build routines on. Source
