SurgePix: What It Does, Pricing and Who Should Skip It
SurgePix generates images, posters, presentations, infographics, résumés, social graphics and e-commerce visuals from a prompt, an outline, Markdown, HTML or a reference image, then turns the result into an editable project. You can chat with an assistant to change one element or the whole project, repaint a marked region (inpainting), split text in an image into editable layers, remove backgrounds and apply a brand kit with your logo, colors and fonts. Its Designer Agent can search the web and build visuals from what it finds. Exports include PNG, SVG and PPTX. Open-source agent skills let Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI call it through its API for posters, presentations, background removal and image translation. It launched on Product Hunt on October 26, 2026.

Who should skip it
Anyone who mainly wants standalone artistic images, and anyone on a tight long-term budget who might miss that the low intro prices jump after three months. No independent hands-on reviews were found yet, so expect rough edges.

- No independent user reviews found yet (launched October 26, 2026). Its own docs note that daily plan credits expire each day and that both your prompt and the output use credits, with only the input charged when a generation fails. Source
